Our commercial motor vehicle insurance policies give business owners the flexibility and peace of mind that their vehicles will be protected if something was to happen. Our policies have higher limits, minimal driver restrictions for employees driving your vehicle and a smoothly managed claim that’s handled by us to ensure you get what you’re entitled to.
What our commercial motor insurance covers
Our policies don’t list drivers specifically, meaning that everyone is covered when they drive, provided that they have your permission and are legally licensed to drive. You don’t need to call us when there is a new employee who is going to start driving one of your vehicles, you’ll be covered straight away.
Most of our commercial motor insurance policies will generally cover an excess free glass claim. This means that windscreens, windows and sunroof are covered for replacement with no excess payable.
Towing a trailer? Consider it covered up to $5,000 when it is being towed by one of the vehicles listed on the policy or stored at the address specified. Some private motor insurance policies only cover up to $500 however, our $5,000 cover can save tradies a couple of hundred dollars every year.
We understand that most vehicles fitted out for commercial use have had things like signage, racks, shelves, bull bars and tow bars fitted to them. Simply tell us about your modifications and accessories and we will ensure that they are covered and included in your replacement value.
Just because you have a heavy vehicle doesn’t mean you need to insure it elsewhere. Our commercial motor policies also allow us to include trucks, plant and equipment and most other unregistered items.
